Aged in bourbon & high-vanillin casks

Vanillin is an aromatic compound which brings vanilla flavours to whisky. When you toast barrels, the lignin (which aids the wood’s structure) breaks down and releases compounds including vanillin. Our new oak casks have been especially toasted to bring out more vanilla qualities, hence these casks being called “high-vanillin” casks.

Glenmorangie Affogato

Add 35ml A Tale of Ice Cream, a dash vanilla syrup, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to a glass coffee cup. Slowly pour the hot espresso over the top of the ice cream. Give the drink a gentle stir and serve with a teaspoon. Perfect for coffee and ice cream lovers!

Glenmorangie Sgroppino

Whisk together 35ml A Tale of Ice Cream, 100ml champagne, 5ml vanilla syrup, and a scoop of lemon sorbet. Pour into a chilled wine glass and garnish with a mint leaf. A deliciously elegant, light, and sweat treat!

Popcorn Old Fashioned

Combine 50ml A Tale of Ice Cream, 20ml toffee popcorn syrup, a dash Angostura Bitters in a mixing glass with ice and stir till chilled and diluted. Strain over a large block of ice in a rocks glass and garnish with three pieces of toffee popcorn. Wonderfully rich and indulgent.
